Shipping Policy

1. Where We Ship

We ship to all addresses within:

  • England

  • Wales

  • Scotland

  • Northern Ireland

We do not currently ship outside the United Kingdom.


2. Shipping Provider

All orders are fulfilled using Royal Mail Tracked services.

Customers are able to choose between available delivery speeds at checkout (e.g. Tracked 24 or Tracked 48), depending on availability.

All shipments include:

  • Tracking

  • Signature required on delivery

  • Mandatory Age Verification (18+) on delivery


3. Age Verification (18+) — Bladed Articles

As required under UK law, all orders containing knives or bladed articles:

  • Require Age Verification (18+) at delivery

  • Must be accepted by a person aged 18 or over

  • May require valid photo ID

If age verification cannot be completed, Royal Mail will not hand over the parcel.

We reserve the right to cancel or refund orders where delivery cannot be completed due to failed age verification.


4. Dispatch Times

Orders are dispatched within 1 business day (Monday–Friday, excluding bank holidays).

Orders placed after 2pm will be processed the next business day.

During peak periods or promotional events, dispatch times may be slightly extended. If this occurs, we will notify customers where possible.


5. Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery times (after dispatch):

  • Royal Mail Tracked 24: 1–2 working days

  • Royal Mail Tracked 48: 2–3 working days

Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.

Delays caused by Royal Mail, weather, or circumstances outside our control may affect delivery times.


6. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

We may offer:

  • Free standard shipping on all orders

  • Paid express delivery options

All shipping charges will be clearly displayed before payment is completed.


7. Failed Delivery Attempts

If delivery cannot be completed due to:

  • No person aged 18+ present

  • Failed age verification

  • Incorrect address provided

Royal Mail may:

  • Leave a calling card

  • Attempt redelivery

  • Return the parcel to us

If an order is returned to us due to failed delivery, we may deduct original shipping costs before refunding.


8. Incorrect Address

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address.

We are not responsible for delays or losses caused by incorrect or incomplete address information.

If a parcel is returned due to incorrect address details, additional shipping charges may apply for re-dispatch.


9. Lost Parcels

If your order has not arrived:

  • Please allow up to 10 working days from the expected delivery date.

After this period:

  1. We will open an investigation with Royal Mail.

  2. We may request confirmation from you.

  3. Once Royal Mail confirms the outcome, we will agree next steps with you, which may include a replacement or refund.

We do not classify parcels as lost until Royal Mail confirms the investigation outcome.


10. Damaged Parcels

If your parcel arrives damaged:

  • Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Provide photos of the packaging and contents.

We will investigate and arrange a suitable resolution.


11. Risk & Responsibility

Risk remains with Kanzo Kitchen until your order is delivered and accepted by a person aged 18 or over.

Once delivery is completed and age verification confirmed, responsibility transfers to the customer.
