These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Kanzo Kitchen website and any purchases made through it.
By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Throughout these Terms, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Kanzo Kitchen.
1. ABOUT US
This website is operated by Kanzo Kitchen.
We sell kitchen knives and related accessories online to consumers in the United Kingdom.
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides the e-commerce platform that enables us to sell our products to you.
However, all purchases are made directly with Kanzo Kitchen — not Shopify.
2. AGE RESTRICTION — SALE OF KNIVES
By placing an order for any knife or bladed article, you confirm that:
• You are 18 years of age or older
• The information you provide is accurate
• You will not resell the product to persons under 18
We reserve the right to:
• Cancel orders suspected of being placed by minors
• Request age verification
• Refuse delivery if age verification fails
Orders containing knives may require age verification upon delivery.
3. PRODUCTS & DESCRIPTIONS
We make every effort to display product images and descriptions accurately.
However:
• Colours and finishes may vary slightly due to screen differences
• Handmade and natural materials may contain minor variations
• Measurements are approximate
Nothing in this section limits your legal rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods.
4. ORDERS & CONTRACT FORMATION
Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase.
A contract is formed only when we dispatch the goods and send a dispatch confirmation email.
We may cancel an order if:
• The item is unavailable
• Payment fails
• Fraud is suspected
• Age verification requirements are not met
• A pricing error occurred
If cancelled, you will receive a full refund.
5. PRICES & PAYMENT
Prices are displayed in GBP and include VAT unless stated otherwise.
We reserve the right to correct pricing errors before dispatch.
If the correct price differs, we will contact you before shipping.
Payment must be received before dispatch.
6. DELIVERY
Delivery times are estimates only.
Risk remains with Kanzo Kitchen until the goods are delivered to you.
If an item is lost or damaged in transit, we will replace or refund it in accordance with UK consumer law.
You must provide an accurate delivery address.
We are not responsible for failed deliveries due to incorrect information.
7. YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL (DISTANCE SELLING)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 100 days of receiving your goods.

You then have 30 days to return the goods.
You are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty.
Refunds will be issued within 30 days of receiving the returned item.
8. FAULTY OR MISDESCRIBED GOODS
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 you are entitled to:
• A full refund within 30 days for faulty goods
• A repair or replacement after 30 days
• A partial refund if repair/replacement fails
This applies regardless of any other policy.
9. CARE & SAFE USE
Knives are sharp tools and must be used responsibly.
Kanzo Kitchen accepts no liability for injury caused by:
• Improper use
• Misuse
• Failure to follow safe handling practices
• Use for non-culinary purposes
This does not limit liability for defective products.
10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on this website including images, text, branding, and design is owned by Kanzo Kitchen.
You may not reproduce or use any material without written permission.
11. USER CONDUCT
You agree not to:
• Use the website unlawfully
• Attempt fraud or abuse promotions
• Provide false information
• Attempt to bypass age restrictions
We may suspend accounts or cancel orders if misuse occurs.
12. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
We are not responsible for third-party websites, payment providers, or external links.
13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for:
• Death or personal injury caused by negligence
• Fraud
• Your statutory consumer rights
Otherwise, our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.

15. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
